INTERNATIONAL SALES INTRODUCTION

International orders must be pre-paid by wire transfer. After you submit an order to:
orders@thamesandkosmos.eu we will send you a Pro-forma invoice and payment instructions. Once payment is received the goods will be shipped. VAT will be zero rated to buyers registered for VAT in the European Union (this will be verified by us). VAT will be charged to non-VAT registered or non-verified businesses. VAT will not be charged on orders outside of the EU.
MAP:In order to maintain the integrity of the Thames and Kosmos brand, Thames and Kosmos has established a policy for resellers of Thames and Kosmos products. The wholesale price list includes a Minimum Advertised Price. This price has been established to protect and support all resellers as well as consumers of Thames and Kosmos. Temporary sales, discounts and promotions that effectively lower the retail price of the product are acceptable.
Minimum Orders: The minimun order value is 500 EURO or 1 case of equal or higher value.
Case packs: Product is shipped in cases and cannot be split and the minimum order is 1 case.
Claims: Shortages, damages and defective merchandise must be reported within 7 days of receipt of goods.
Shipping: We can deliver anywhere in the world, EXCEPT for USA and Canada. Delivery for overseas orders will be charged by weight, the charge is calculated for you and added to the Pro-forma invoice. Please contact us on +44 (0)1883 730122 or email us if you have further queries. Once you have emailed or faxed your order we will provide you with a price for shipping. This will be a discounted shipping rate provided by our carrier. This will be added to the invoice. All products will be shipped from our warehouse in the UK and will be insured. Alternatively we can offer F.O.B.
Returns: Returns are accepted for damaged or defective goods only. Products that have be used or are incomplete will not be accepted. All product returns must be preceded by contact with us.
Other Conditions: Prices and specifications are subject to change. Thames and Kosmos Europe Ltd reserve the right to technical alterations. Customers can confirm prices and availibiliy with a purchase order. All sales are final according to the conditions as outlined on the invoice.
PRICES AND TAXES
Orders within the EU.
All prices are zero rated for VAT on all orders within the European Union (excluding the UK) that provide us with EU Vat numbers (These will be verified)
Orders outside the EU.
For orders outside the EU, VAT will be deducted from the cost of the goods only if the country of destination is correctly selected (Channel Island customers should select Channel Islands from the country field, NOT UK). Destinations outside the EU may be subject to import duty. These are not included in our prices and are the responsibility of the customers to pay on or after receipt of goods.
RETURNS AND REFUND
We want you to be delighted with the quality of the goods you receive from Thames and Kosmos Europe Ltd. However, if for any reason you do wish to return any items from your order, please do so within 28 days of receipt and in resaleable condition for either a full refund of the value of the goods or an exchange. Refunds are normally processed within 7 days of receipt.
Faulty goods.
If you receive goods which are faulty or have been damaged in transit, please let us know straight away and we will either offer you a full refund or replace the goods at our cost. Unless the goods are faulty or sent in error you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend you use recorded delivery and obtain insurance, as proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
Your statutory rights.
Our guarantees are provided in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
CANCELLING AN ORDER
Cancelling despatched goods.
If the goods have already been despatched we ask you to package them up, in resaleable condition and return them to us at your cost. Please be aware that proof of posting is NOT proof of receipt and for this reason we recommend you use a signed-for insured service. We will refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any shipping costs or collection costs (if you do not send them back to us). We will refund you as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of us receiving your cancellation.
ALTERATIONS TO KITS
For liability reasons, we would like to draw your attention to the following information:
We supply educational toys / kits mainly in the English speaking market which are accompanied by instructions in the English language only. The English/USA instructions have been tested and reviewed very carefully and both the components included in our educational toys / kits and the text of the instructions are in conformity with US and English law.
We call your attention to the fact that you are not permitted to make changes in the design and the features by adding new components or sequences to the instructions of our educational toys / kits. Moreover, we cannot assume any obligation to guarantee the translation of such changes. Therefore, you shall be responsible for correcting errors and responding to customer complaints. We assume no liability for such errors or complaints arising from translations into other languages.
All kits are sold with instructions in the English Language only and are not therefore intended for retail in any European state other than the UK. Therefore by agreeing to our terms and conditions when opening your account with us you declare complete liability in the event that you translate the instruction text into any other language. You further declare that kits will not be retailed outside of the UK without translated text in the Country or State in which the kits are to be sold.
